Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of PermitTracker Pro ("the Service", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind that company.

1. What the Service does

PermitTracker Pro stores construction permit records and sends reminders before those permits expire, at 90, 60, 30 and 7 day intervals and on expiration, according to the settings you choose.

2. Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee

This is the most important term in this document, so it is not buried at the bottom. You remain solely responsible for the status of your permits. Reminders depend on the dates you enter being correct, and on email and SMS delivery that we do not control. A reminder may be delayed, filtered as spam, or fail to arrive. Do not treat the absence of a reminder as evidence that a permit is current, and do not rely on the Service as your only control over a regulatory deadline.

We are not a law firm, we are not permit expeditors, and nothing in the Service is legal or regulatory advice.

3. Accounts

You must give accurate registration information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including actions by team members you invite. Tell us promptly at info@permittrackerpro.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Trial, plans and payment

• Free trial: 30 days, no credit card required. At the end of the trial your account is locked until you choose a plan. Your data is not deleted when a trial ends.
• Solo — $29 per month.
• Crew — $69 per month.
• Company — $149 per month.

Paid plans bill monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice to your account email; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from the subscription page in your account. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep access until then.

Payments already made are not refunded on a pro-rata basis for a partial month. If the Service failed materially or you were billed in error, email info@permittrackerpro.com and we will make it right.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully, or to store unlawful content.
• Upload malware, or attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the Service or other accounts.
• Access data belonging to another company.
• Resell or white-label the Service without our written agreement.
• Add someone as an alert recipient without a legitimate basis for contacting them.

7. Your data

Your permit records, documents and company information remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to host, process and display that data in order to run the Service for you. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for content you upload and for having the right to upload it.

8. Public share links

Share links you create make a permit's status page viewable by anyone holding the URL, without a sign-in. You decide who receives a link and you are responsible for that distribution. Links expire 90 days after creation and can be revoked earlier from within the app.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running continuously but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime level. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades or reasons outside our control.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, for non-payment, or for activity that threatens the Service or other users. Except where the breach makes it unsafe to do so, we will give you notice and a reasonable opportunity to export or receive a copy of your data.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reminder will be delivered.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, or any penalty, fine, stop-work order, re-permitting cost or other loss arising from an expired or lapsed permit.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these terms.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will notify your account email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware.
